Really Welsh has always traditionally produced its mouth-watering local produce in the south of Wales, but when we realised that we couldn’t really be Really Welsh without producing some of the biggest and tastiest leeks in the land, we knew we had to go north.
That’s because leeks are an entirely different kettle of fish to cauliflowers and daffs (and even mushrooms). They need deep cold soils and just the right organic matter, and you can only really get that in Flintshire – Queensferry to be exact. The fields there are teeming with just the right blend of nutrients for mind-bogglingly good leeks.
Don’t forget, leeks are one of the best things about Wales, and Flintshire is the best place in all of Wales to grow them, so it’s really no wonder that our Really Welsh Leeks are some of the best you’ll taste anywhere. Give them a go and see for yourself – they’re unbelievable – and it’s all thanks to the unique growing conditions we’ve found for them.
We pull our Really Welsh Leeks between September and March each year meaning that we can supply hungry consumers, from Wales and beyond, with first-class produce that's packed with nutrition and flavour.

Above - Not the exact location of were we grow but some of the neighbouring hills in the very beautiful North Wales where the Really Welsh Leeks are grown.
