Cauliflower Cheese, Bacon and Pasta Bake
To serve 4 you will need:
- 300g pasta shapes
- 1 whole Really Welsh Cauliflower, broken into florets
- 250g pack smoked back bacon
- 150g Caerphilly cheese, grated
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200°c, gas mark 6.
- Cook the pasta according to the pack instructions and drain.
- At the same time, simmer the cauliflower for 6-8 minutes until tender.
- Drain.
- Meanwhile, grill the bacon for 4-5 minutes under a preheated grill, turning once half way.
- Chop the bacon and stir into the pasta with the cauliflower and transfer to a 2 litre ovenproof dish.
- Sprinkle over the cheese and bake for 20 minutes until golden.
- Serve immediately.
