What we do at Really Welsh

Really Welsh Cauliflowers

Cauliflower iconGulf streams sound brilliant don’t they? They make you think of just lying on a beach having fun fun fun with not that much to do which, incidentally, pretty much sums up the day-to-day existence of our wonderful cauliflowers.

They spend all day basking in the warm sunshine and soil that Wales's gulf stream gives them and it helps them turn into big round juicy things that are just crying out to be eaten.

There’s very little frost down in those parts, that's the key.

Every single one of our caulis benefits from the Vale of Glamorgan climate and they're all grown under the watchful eye of Andy Blair. That makes him a bit on the busy side, seeing as how he also nurtures Really Welsh leeks from the Flintshire fields up in the north, but he doesn't mind. When growing leeks, cauliflowers and daffs is your passion, you'll do anything.

Really Welsh Cauliflowers are harvested seven days a week to make sure that the one you get is as fresh as the countryside air.
