Mass Daffodil Bulb planting to take place across Wales

Following our disappointment last year when only 4 out of the 22 City and County councils in Wales ordered Welsh bulbs, this year we wrote to over 700 community councils in Wales offering them our daffodil bulbs grown just outside Bridgend for a really competitive price. The community councils responded in their hundreds meaning that we will be really busy delivering bulbs right across Wales this summer.

Last year only Cardiff, Newport, Brigend and Denbighshire councils ordered daffodil bulbs with the other councils saying that they have never planted a daffodil bulb or that they bought their bulbs from Holland but because they grew in Wales they became Welsh over time.

We are extremley pleased and grateful that so many community councils have got behind our incentive and we're looking forward to not only to delivering the bulbs but also seeing the many thousands of daffodils that will be popping up all over Wales next Spring.

We will start to harvest our daffodil bulbs in the next few weeks and they will be available to buy in many shops throughout Wales as well as on our online shop in July. You can already pre order your Duffydil bulbs from the shop.
