Daffodils are coming…

This year we have planted around 14 million daffodil bulbs, as you can see some of them have already started to raise their heads above the ground and see their beautiful surroundings in sunny South Wales!

We are growing over 20 different varieties of daffodils to make sure that you will be able to take home daffodils in January to brighten up the darkest of days right through to Easter.  The important thing is that they will be Welsh daffodils; you'll be surprised at how many aren't!! Would you believe that the 'City of Cardiff' daffodil and the 'Katherine Jenkins' daffodil don't come from Wales at all - but are Cornish grown...... tut tut!

Most of the daffodils still have a bit more growing to do before we can pick them and get them into store for you to take home, keep an eye on the Really Welsh countdown and look out for the daffodils in store shortly after Christmas.

Remember if they aren't Really Welsh daffodils they may not be Welsh at all...
