Cooking up a Feast

Vale Plus is a day service for adults with learning disabilities with their centres in Llantwit Major and Barry providing lifelong learning andleisure opportunities.

Some of the activities that are offered by Vale Plus include Life Skills, Horticulture and Catering. During these activities attendents get the chance to learn how to cook as well as learning about how food is produced and where it comes from. This is where Really Welsh comes in... we donate as much seasonal veg as the guys at Vale Plus can eat.

Once the great Welsh summer kicks in properly we have also planned for everyone to get their wellies on and come down to the farm to see for themslelves what we get up to and how our lovely veg grows and gets harvested.
