Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Wales is once again covered in snow this Wednesday and most of the Really Welsh team have been snowed in and are working from the comforts of their homes instead. The prolonged weather is taking its toll on the harvesting of our crops and affecting farmers and producers right across the UK.

Cauliflower crops in most parts of the UK have been severely hit with farmers unable to harvest and entire crops turning to mush. Here at Really Welsh our cauliflower crops suffered similarly the last two winters as unlike leeks, cauliflowers are not as durable against the onslaught of snow and ice. The financial loss that resulted from such weather conditions was among the reasons why we took the decision to stop growing Cauliflowers.

Our daffodils are still only just poking their heads above the ground, but word is that temperatures are going to hit a whopping 9 degrees on Friday and Saturday, which along with some rain to melt the snow we should see daffodils growing in no time.

In the meantime you could brave some Really Welsh Ice Cream or even do what they do in that TV ad and get the BBQ and put on some Really Welsh burgers.
