Our Privacy Policy

When you order, Really Welsh need to know your name, billing address, e-mail address, telephone number, delivery address, credit or debit card number, expiry date and authorisation code. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and enables us to contact you regarding the order. To fulfil your order, your delivery address and your telephone number will be given to our carriers and, if required by law, to other parties such as Customs and Excise. This will enable our carriers to successfully complete delivery of your order. We will keep records of your orders, bills, payments and product returns, if any. All information will be kept on a secure database.

We use WorldPay to securely validate your payment online. WorldPay use software to check for fraudulent use and link to the banks to check for credit limits and notification of lost and stolen cards. You can learn more about these services at http://www.worldpay.com. We use this data to cross reference payments received with the order value for accounts reconciliation and also to enable us to refund you if you return a product to us.

When you are prompted for your payment details you will leave the Really Welsh shop via a secure link to WorldPay. You will be notified at this stage and should not be worried to proceed, as all information is encrypted via a secure link. You will receive a payment notification directly from WorldPay for your records with a unique transaction number, as well as an order notification from Really Welsh with a unique order number. Please keep both these numbers as they will be required in the event of needing to refund any monies to you.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information you give to us is only used by Really Welsh and WorldPay and is never shared with third parties, unless necessary to fulfil your order or clearly stated at the time of collection or registration.

By using this Site, we assume that you have read this document carefully. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. We reserve the right to make changes to this policy from time to time as necessary. Your continued use of this Site following the posting of any such changes to these terms will mean you accept the changes.

Our security policy

The security of your personal details is our primary concern. To ensure that we offer you the highest standard available we use encryption technology so that only our authorised personnel can read your personal information.

Your order and payment details are sent by an advanced electronic high security method (SSL-technology). Using this method guarantees others cannot view your details. The lock at the bottom of your screen during check out indicates this security process.

You can check our Security Status in a number of ways. When you are operating in a secure environment you are prompted through your browser and the unbroken key or closed lock symbol will appear at the bottom of the browser window. You should also see a 's' after the http on the URL address.

We do not retain your credit/debit card details within our database. This means that, should we need to refund you any monies, we will ask you for your details over the telephone, in order to process a refund. Access to this data is strictly controlled to named individuals within the company. Once the refund has been processed your details will be destroyed.
